Best Freestyle Team |

Tony Hoard
and Rory |
No one can argue with the season they have had, with only seeing
Rory at
our performances, then coming out of competition retirement to whip up
on the best and winning the 2008 Skyhoundz World Championship for the
second time! Congrats, guys! |

| |
Best New Freestyle |

Bill Ogle
and Adonis |
Only thing I can say, is what took you so long!?! They came out
early
this year, and just put together awesome routines, that made the crowd
hoot and holler for them. Watch out, they are only going to get better
next year! |
| |
| |
Most Improved Freestyle Team |

Denise Thorton
and Blaidden |
This was the overwhelming winner, with seeing how far they have come
from last year to this. Another team, with each passing competition, are
getting better, and will be a force to reckon with next year. |

| |
Best Toss N Fetch Team |

Rick Kimball
and Dugan
One word: Consistency. They go out every time, and I rarely see a
miss.
And what a great year for these two. One of their accomplishments were
qualifying for the UFO World Cup All Star Throw and Catch, and finishing
a respectable fourth. Good job, guys! |

| |
Best New
Toss n Fetch Team |

Chandler Curtis
and Fury |
Chandler got a jewel in Fury. What a quick little dog! And a great
year
for them also, with winning the North Central Regional, with a monster D
and A round, and qualifying for the Skyhoundz Microdog World
Championship! |
| |
| |
Most Improved
Toss N Fetch Team |

Rick Kimball
and Dugan |
I bet Mary Jo knows more than anyone, but I know they have really
been
working on their game, and it is paying off. Look at any of the results
this year, and there is Rick and Dugan right at the top! |
| |
| |
Best Overall Team |

Mark Gose
and Mya |
I don't like to give out the results of the voting, but Mark and Mya
where run away winners. The first thing that comes to mind is Smooth. A
Great showing in FL, at the UFO Worlds, and alway at the top in the
final results in all competitions they enter. |
| |
| |
Best Overall Canine Competitor |

Mya Gose |
An athlete in every sense of the word, Mya is well deserving of this
award. Mark and her always team up to be a force in every event they
enter. |
| |
| |
Junior Handler of the Year |

Neo King |
As Neo gets older, his throwing and control of the dog is getting
better.
He had a good handle on Monty at the party. This will be interesting as
his brother, Pre, gets older. They will be battling it out every time they
step on the field! |
| |
| |
Best New Move |

Tony Hoard
and Zanie J |
Dancing on two legs What a
great opening to showcase the dogs talent, having Zanie up on two, while
her and Tony do a little dance. Also gets her focused on Tony from the
start. |
| |
| |
Most Entertaining Team to Watch |

Don Lang
and Lily |
What can I say, if you have seen this team, you know they have so
much
fun on the field. You never know what Don will come up with next, from
Don "Travolta", or an Hawaiian theme. |
| |
| |
Keeping it Fun |

Chip Hershey
and Lexi |
I just like to live by our clubs' motto: Where having fun is more
important than winning! |
| |
| |
Most Embarrassing Moment |

Mary Jo Corso |
For those of you who don't know, at first it wasn't embarrassing, it
was
scary. At a performance in Chicago, between shows, MJ was working on
some moves with Rudy, when Rudy jumped up and almost broke MJ's nose.
Instant blood flow, and the paramedics were called to check her out.
When I first saw her, she was sitting backstage with an ice pack on her
nose. No way did I think she would continue, but being the trooper she
is, she only missed the next show, and went out for the show after that! |
| |
| |
Best Mental Attitude |

Danny Eggleston |
Danny always shows his best
side, whatever the situation. Sorry for bringing this up, Danny, but I
saw him go out and score a goose egg on a toss n fetch round, one of
that teams strengths, and you would have never known it. But I am sure
it was killing him on the inside. |

Best IDDC Event |
Indy Disc Dog Classic |
Everyone could learn from Mary Jo and Rick how to put on a first
class
event! I have never heard anything but good things from the IDDC's IDDC.
Brings in a lot of competitors from all over the world, and is kind of
the IDDC's flagship event. |
