North Central Regional

Tournament of Champions

The IDDC in conjunction with the Henry County Convention & Visitors Bureau will be hosting the Hyperflite Skyhoundz North Central Regional Tournament of Champions.  It will be held at Osborne Park in New Castle, IN from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, July 26th.  This is a qualifying event for the Hyperflite Skyhoundz World Championships.  To check your geographic eligibility please go here.  There will also be competition and  freestyle demos on Sunday, July 27th from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM.  Hopefully, all pertinent info is listed below, but if you can't find something or have questions, please contact us.

FREE DISC DOG TRAINING
6:00 PM, Friday July 27th at Osborne Park in New Castle, IN.  Training will be led by 2 time Skyhoundz World Champion Tony Hoard!  Come out and learn the basics of teaching your dog to catch the flying disc!

Fees for pre-registration are $15.00 for the first class and $10.00 for each additional class.  On-site registration fees are $20.00 for the first class and $15.00 for each additional class.

What You'll Need
This is a list of things you will need to bring to the competition.

Proof of Rabies, Parvo, and Distemper inoculations.
Water for you and your dog/s.
K-10, Fastback, or Hero discs
Music for Freestyle routine on CD. (We do not have the ability to play cassette tapes.)

The General Rules for IDDC competitions are posted on the IDDC Rule's Page.  Please visit this page to become familiar with the IDDC's Generals Rules.  This event uses the rules developed by Skyhoundz and can be found at Skyhoundz rules.

Hotel Info
The IDDC recommends the Best Western - Raintree Inn.  Please call them at 765-521-0100 to make reservations.  When making a reservation list "DOG AND DISC." to get one of the blocks of rooms reserved for the event.  You need to make reservations by July 5th. (The block of rooms will only be held until then, so call now!)

$62.00 with NO pet fee.

The Northeast side of Indy is only about 45 minutes from New Castle, so you might consider using a hotel in Indianapolis if the Best Western in New Castle is full.
