The Indy Dog and Disc Club is happy to present league play.

League play is a no-frills smaller version of a disc dog competition. These informal matches are a great way for beginners to join with veterans and have fun playing flying disc with their dogs. You do not need any prior experience to play and you do not have to be a club member. The games and rules are different each time to suit the space and players. Matches will be added throughout the year so keep your eye on this website for announcements and locations. Matches are usually pretty small and under 2 hours long. You do not have to go to every match and you can jump in or jump out at any time. A dog can play with multiple handlers. This is also a great place to learn the sport.

League standings will posted here as they become available. There is a Youth League for 14 and under and an Adult League for 15 and over. You will need to fill out a registration form and liability waiver at your first match. Minors require an adult guardian to be present. No prizes or trophies will be given out at any matches.

  Important Points

 - Dogs must be healthy enough for this activity.
 - Dogs must not show any aggression towards other dogs or humans.
 - Bring water for your dog to drink and poop bags for clean up.
 - Bring a chair to sit in, some shade if you have it, and a camera if you have one.
 - Only one dog is allowed off leash at a time.
 - Bring your favorite dog safe flying disc for your dog. If you don’t have one we will lend you one.
 - Cancellations due to weather (storms or high heat) will be made at least 2 hours in advance. That notice will be done on the IDDC Training List Yahoo Group.
 - Be sure to ask others for advise or pointers. We are a very friendly group and love to give advise if asked.
 - Matches are free unless the venue is rented such as some indoor matches. A small fee per dog will be charged to defray the rental expense.
 - Game rules and descriptions are available for download. The match coordinator can change the rules on the fly to suit the venue.
 - Be sure to come with the attitude that having fun is more important than winning.
